Tired of political games and falsehoods and married to a Combat Veteran Marine myself, I am incensed by the politics of slime that Congressman Filner is getting away with against his opponent; former Marine and Congressional candidate Nick Popaditch. I can only assume that the TV stations are enjoying the ad revenue despite the fact that the ads are completely false!
Congressman Bob Filner is running ads stating that his opponent Nick Popaditch did not vote for 11 years. Please see Nick’s response and the pertinent part of the ad, to the right of the story on the link below:

As you can see, Nick voted in all years except 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 2005. Further to that, witness the fact that Nick voted in the 2004 Presidential election only 7 months after he was hit in the head by an Grenade in Falluja Iraq. As Nick explains in the above linked piece, he rushed to San Bernardino after being discharged from the hospital in order to vote in this important election!
Nick Popaditch nearly died for this Country! His opponent Bob Filner is the Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and as Nick is a Veteran, Filner should retract this falsehood!
I am confident he will not do this, as I have seen this far leftie in action. He has nothing but disdain and contempt for anyone who does not agree with his Marxist agenda. Ever since this data was made public, Filner has not been seen nor heard from. At the last minute, he canceled a KUSI TV appearance where he was to go head to head with Nick on the topic of these ads.

I agree with Jim that it is an act of desperation on Filner’s part. He has no dirt on Nick so he fabricates it!
I too have been calling this for Nick for a while. It is my district. I have talked to many folks and can read the pulse of the district. It may be close, but Nick is still out there stumping for every single vote! We desperately need House wins in CA and hey, why not in my District? Nick Popaditch is the most principled candidate I have ever met. As Nick says “A Marine’s word is his bond”.

It’s disgusting what Filner is saying and doing….but it’s also a sign of desperation. I don’t think he’s had his re-election serious contested until Nick Popaditch this year. I’m sick and tired of these out-of-touch incumbent’s thinking they have a lifetime job….but to make accusations against a veteran and hero like Nick is beyond the pail. If you are reading this–STOP– and pick up the phone and tell these news stations to stop running adds that they know are false. I did and it got to the supervisor of channel 10. they said they have to because of contracts with Filner. Now they have the proof of his voting record, lets see if they do the right thing now!

Filner refused to show up at KUSI this morning(nov 1). I think Popaditch knew Filner would slime him and wanted to be there for it, so all we heard was Nick this morn. It is now posted at VoteTheBunOut.com
Yes, Nick is not afraid to confront his adversaries! Witness the big can of whoop a** he dished out to Filner at the debate! I think Filner is actually afraid of him, and well he should be!
